It has been another hard week, Lord. Struggles to keep persevering in the storm. Struggles to continue to wait upon You, Your perfect ways and Your perfect timing. And yet.....
“Cast your cares on the Lord and HE will sustain you; He will NEVER let the righteous fall.” Psalm 55:22
“Thought I walk in the midst of trouble, YOU preserve my life; YOU stretch out Your hand against the anger of my foes, with YOUR right hand YOU save me.” Psalm 138:7
“even the darkness will not be dark to You; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to You.” Psalm 139:12
“I was young and now I am old, yet I have NEVER seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread.” Psalm 37:25
“As you know, we consider blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. The Lord is full of compassion and mercy.” James 5:11
“ We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but NOT ABANDONED; struck down, but not destroyed.” 2 Corinthians 4:8
So, as I press on, Lord, following You on this journey, I remember again...
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven” Ecclesiastes 3:1
“... God has said, NEVER will I leave you; NEVER will I forsake you. So we can say with confidence, ‘The Lord is my Helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?’” Hebrews 13:5b-6
“But He said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness....’” 2 Corinthians 12:9a
“Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and His understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” Isaiah 40:31
“I can everything through HIM Who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13
You always make a way, Lord. You always make a way to go through the storm. How humbled I am every time You do. Praise You from Whom all blessings flow.
